Having a sustainable income is the reason they started to make the local dolls.
The women make the donkey from thin felt. Since most of the residents of the village are livestock farmers, wool is an abundant material in the village. These wools used to be thrown away, and now the creative women of the village make dolls and felt products with them to create a sustainable supplemental livelihood. The whole process of making dolls is done by hand.
