About Bakhtiari Vris Weaving:
Vris weaving is one of the authentic Bakhtiari nomadic crafts, created using the ancient card weaving technique. Traditionally, it was used to make straps, belts, pack ties, and clothing decorations. Today, with Rostatishe’s redesigns, this heritage craft is reimagined into practical and stylish accessories like belts.
Origin – Shazdeh Abdollah, Khuzestan:
This belt is handcrafted in the nomadic region of Shazdeh Abdollah, located on the border of Khuzestan and Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari. Local nomads face significant livelihood challenges, and through a community-based approach, Rostatishe empowers women by reviving traditional weaving and strengthening the local economy.
Care Instructions:
To maintain quality, wash the belt gently with cold water and mild detergent. Avoid strong cleaners. Since natural leather is used, do not expose to direct sunlight or tumble dryers.
