About Bakhtiari Vris Weaving:
Vris weaving is an authentic Bakhtiari nomadic craft, made using the ancient card weaving technique. Traditionally, it was used to produce straps, belts, pack ties, and clothing decorations. Today, with Rostatishe’s modern redesign, this heritage art is revived as practical and stylish accessories such as belts.
Origin – Shazdeh Abdollah, Khuzestan:
This belt is handmade in the nomadic region of Shazdeh Abdollah, on the border of Khuzestan and Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari. In this community, where nomads face major livelihood challenges, Rostatishe follows a community-based approach to empower women and strengthen the local economy through the revival of traditional crafts.
Care Instructions:
To maintain quality, wash gently with cold water and mild detergent. Avoid strong cleaners. Since natural leather is used, do not expose to direct sunlight or tumble dryers.
