Description
This girl doll is made by Hayedeh and Fatemeh, two sisters from Tajmir Village in the South Khorasan Province.
These puppets are made of pieces of wood, different colored and needled pieces of Baluchi cloths, and filled with wool. Tamir dolls can be an amazing gift for kids. They can make stories and plays while they are getting to know the culture and traditional lifestyle of the Balouch people of Tajmir Village.
The doll is called “Dotook” in the Baluchi language. The Dotooks of Tajmir reminds many stories, lullabies, traditional poets, and memories of nomads. The unique story and the artisan’s name doll are written on a piece of cloth and folded to each doll.
As this puppet is totally handmade, the one we send you may have some differences in size and color from the one you see in the photos.
A part of the sale’s benefit of this product will go back to the Tajmir Village project for developing education conditions of students
