Description
These adorable dolls’ name is “Jan Bibi”. This name came from their maker, the grandmother, “Gol Bibi”. She lives in Tajmir Village of South Khorasan.
These local dolls are made of pieces of wood and filled with wool. Tajmir dolls are amazing gifts for kids. They can make stories and play with them while they are getting to know the culture and traditional lifestyle of the Balouch people of Tajmir Village.
The doll is called “Dotook” in the Baluchi language. The Dotooks of Tajmir Village reminds many stories, lullabies, traditional poets, and memories of nomads. The unique story and the artisan’s name of each doll are written on a piece of cloth and folded to them.
As this puppet is totally handmade, the one we send you may have some differences in size and color from the one you see in the photos.
A part of the sale’s benefit of this product will go back to the Tajmir Village project for developing education conditions of students
