Description
This traditional colorful sack is handcrafted by artisan women of Qaleh Qafeh Village in Golestan Province. They’re made of fine traditional fabrics and all parts of the sacks are neatly hand-knitted.
Many years ago, when plastic was not eating up everywhere, locals used these sacks to pack different tiny things from sugar cubes to different nuts and coins. And now, we can use them to pack tiny accessories, make-up, medicine, or even headphones.
You’ll help the conservation of a unique method of textile production in Iran by buying these traditional sacks and besides, help the women of villages to have a voice in their families.
These handcrafted sacks can be also a good idea for green gift packing.
